To anyone who is struggling with anxiety: a mere week ago I was in the middle of a really bad patch. Trapped in that self-referential spiral of worrying about worry. It tried to convince me it’d be for ever, as always. It passed. Fear lies. I hope you feel better soon.

I want to see schools focusing on students' mental health after the COVID-19 pandemic. I also hope that as a society, we can get rid of the stigma surrounding mental health and recognize that it is equally important (if not more important than) physical health. #EM203ROBIN

It deeply saddens me to see that hatred, specifically against Jews remains prevalent today. The NBA must take action and address the antisemitic sentiments that are present among NBA players. I hope to live in a world where people will stop hating others because of their identity

The lessons in this course have opened my eyes to how people learn in different ways. With technology we have at our fingertips today, we have many new tools to provide learning opportunities to students. If these tools are used properly they will benefit us greatly. #EM203Robin

@Em203Ramos Hi Ashlye! I agree that learning about learning styles in EM203 was quite engaging. I believe that individuals being able to identify the learning styles they can learn best by will further them in their academic careers because they will know what works best for them.

In the past couple of weeks, I’ve found the first few lessons quite interesting! Discovering more about the learning by doing method gave me a better sense of my learning style! I look forward to see what’s next to learn in this digital age. #EM203Robin

@ECtrumpour Hi! I agree that connectivism is particularly interesting...especially considering the times we are living in. Further, I am quite intrigued to see the implications that this pandemic will have on the way that people learn and interact academically in the future.

The opening lessons of ‘280 Characters or Less’ have enlightened my understanding of learning theory. Of particular interest, is connectivism. Connectivism acknowledges technological advances in society, which has allowed for interactive, online learning. #EM203Robin

Over the first 3 weeks of this course, I liked discovering how we learn now in the Digital Age. I found this topic significant due to its relevance to my everyday life. I also enjoyed learning about the theories of learning because it helped me understand how I learn best! #EM203
