I’m not surprised that Mexicans allowed their 13 year old daughter to date an 18 year old man. Growing up, I saw a lot of the Mexican girls I was in middle school & in high school with dating, getting pregnant by, or even marrying older men. It’s a very normalized thing for them.

I don’t think there’s going to be studies to the same extent as in England but most pimps tend to be non-white and gang members. Victims are usually “turned out” when they’re underage because minors can’t have homes of their own so if they’re not living at home for whatever reason, so they are more likely to be preyed on.
