Turns out Governor Hobbs was right when she said Arizona voters wanted sanity over chaos. After Hobbs vetoed every border bill put on her desk that would help keep our communities safe, Arizona Republicans sent the Secure the Border Act to the ballot and empowered voters to choose for themselves. Ultimately, Arizona chose sanity over chaos at our southern border by passing Prop. 314. Promises made. Promises kept.

We will be repealing Cesar Chavez Day shortly. Crimes against children are the most heinous and evil. We will not tolerate it.
Arizona House Republicans@AZHouseGOP

🚨Arizona Republicans Move to Repeal Cesar Chavez Day from State Law Following Reports of Predatory Sexual Crimes Against Women, Children “We are not going to keep honoring a man who committed sexual abuse against children and assaulted women. That should not be controversial. If even the Governor is stepping back from recognizing Cesar Chavez this year, then the Legislature needs to finish the job. Looking the other way is not leadership.” -@AZHouseGOP Speaker @SteveMontenegro “This is about what our laws say and what they stand for. As long as this remains in statute, Arizona is still honoring that conduct. Repealing it is the right and responsible step, and it sends a clear message that we stand with victims.” -Rep. @LisaFinkAZ “The conduct described is heinous, and it demands a clear and immediate response. Protecting children and holding predators accountable is a fundamental responsibility of government. Arizona law should never be used to honor someone tied to that kind of harm. This should receive unanimous, bipartisan support. Anything less would be a failure to stand with victims and uphold the basic duty to protect the vulnerable. There is no greater crime than one committed against a child.” -@AZSenateGOP President @VoteWarren “As someone who has worked to strengthen protections for victims and vulnerable populations, I take this seriously. We have to be consistent. We cannot say we stand with victims and then maintain laws that send a conflicting message. This is about ensuring Arizona law reflects a clear commitment to protecting victims and upholding accountability.” -Sen. @ShawnnaLMBolick READ MORE👇 azleg.gov/press/house/57… #AZHouseGOP #AZSenateGOP #AZLeg

🚨 Medical freedom shouldn’t cost you your job or your livelihood. Senate Democrats voted NO on HB 2248—legislation to stop government entities, businesses, and ticket issuers from denying employment, entry, or services based on vaccination status. This bill is about protecting individual choice and ensuring Arizonans aren’t forced into a medical decision just to work, attend events, or participate in everyday life. No one should be shut out of society over a personal health decision. Freedom means choice. And that choice should be protected. @AZSenatorShamp

🚨 Words can kill. This bill makes that clear. Senate JUDE Committee unanimously advanced HB 2665 on Wednesday to hold those who encourage suicide accountable. Senator Bolick has been working on this issue for years, fighting to protect kids from the kind of cruelty that now follows them online. We name laws to honor the children we’ve lost, but one child is one too many. HB 2665 expands manslaughter to include encouraging a minor to take their own life, whether in person or online. Words have consequences. Enough is enough. @ShawnnaLMBolick

The bill to designate Charlie Kirk Loop 202 has now passed both chambers of the Arizona Legislature and is headed to the governor’s desk. We’ve named sections of freeways after Democrats before — that’s nothing new. Surely we can show the same bipartisan spirit by honoring a courageous Republican who was assassinated for boldly exercising his First Amendment rights and defending freedom of speech. Charlie Kirk devoted his life to empowering young Americans to think critically, reject indoctrination, and stand unapologetically for liberty. His voice was silenced by violence, but his legacy of fearless advocacy should live on — starting with this fitting tribute on one of Arizona’s busiest freeways. Let’s hope the governor does the right thing and signs it. Honoring those who die in defense of our fundamental freedoms shouldn’t be a partisan issue.

We just voted to prohibit public monies on being used for sex change operations. Every Democrat voted no. The Democrats are fiercely arguing on the floor that this bill should not go into law.
