Ξανά σε απεργία οι εργαζόμενοι στην Wolt σε όλη την Κύπρο. Ζητούν αξιοπρεπείς συνθήκες εργασίας. Υπενθυμίζουν επίσης ότι αρκετοί συνάδελφοι τους ντελιβεράδες ήταν θύματα φασιστικών επιθέσεων. Πρέπει να αγκαλιάσει η κοινωνία τον δίκαιο αγώνα τους.

At the Salvador Allende hospital in Havana today, when the Puerto Rican delegation brought their huge suitcases of medicine in. The entire U.S. government didn't want this to happen, and the activists made sure Cuban doctors would get supplies anyway. Incredible people.

Αυτό δήλωσε στην επιστολή παραίτησής του ο Joseph Kent, Διευθυντής του Αμερικανικού Εθνικού Κεντρου Αντιτρομοκρατίας.
Ο Kent έχασε την πρώτη του σύζυγο σε επίθεση αυτοκτονίας στη Συρία το 2019, ενώ τα δύο παιδιά τους ήταν πολύ μικρά. Μια εμπειρία που σίγουρα έπαιξε ρόλο στην απόφασή του να αντισταθεί σε έναν μάταιο πόλεμο που που ξεκίνησε, όπως δήλωσε ίδιος, λόγω πιέσεων από το Ισραήλ.

Εδώ και η βδομάδες κυβερνητικά troll accounts, οπαδοί, πρώην πολιτικοί και λοιποί φιλελεύθεροι έχουν εξαπολύσει μια άνευ προηγουμένου επίθεση στον Γιώργο Φράγκου επειδή εξέφρασε την προσωπική του άποψη για το κλίμα που επικρατεί στη χώρα με αφορμή την έλευση των ελληνικών φρεγατών . Κάποιοι ζητούν επίμονα και την παραίτηση του. Έχουμε μπει στην εποχή όπου οποιαδήποτε άλλη άποψη, πέραν της δικής τους, δεν μπορεί να γίνεται κομμάτι του δημόσιου διαλόγου. Εκεί οδηγούν τη χώρα αυτοί που κατά τα άλλα εκφράζουν τον κοινωνικό φιλελευθερισμό.
