Controversial perhaps, but I actually prefer Dalglish's goal here. That first touch, the turn, moves it from the right foot to the left, and then the finish. 👌 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Gemmill's is pretty decent too though...

@Mrcento It's zoomed in simply to fit the vertical box, otherwise you have a huge block of black at the top and bottom. If I had premiere pro open now I could show you a better example. Either way, you weren't getting Graham in that video at the moment the foul takes place.

@A_Southwick I get that, but it's zoomed/cropped in SO tight, at no point does it even give a hint of anyone alongside, or beyond Iovu at any point. Which is contextually relevant given the foul is wide and the attacker, for it to be a clear goalscoring chance, would have to come back inside.

@Mrcento Okay fair enough, but it's a vertical video. Difficult to include the foul and a covering defender, especially when you see the distance between the two. Even in a wide shot (below) Graham is not close by.

@A_Southwick Disagree, (he's not in that screen grab you post, that is Ferry) You can see his legs/shadow throughout on the 'full' camera shot, He's been cropped out the entirety of the SM clip. He's alongside before the challenge and can see the shadow that he's gone beyond Iovu by then.

@RaeComm I like the thought of him coming in for 18 months and maybe grooming Peter Leven or someone else to take over after that, which would sit with what appears to be Lutz Pfannenstiel's philosophy for the club. Like you said, appears to give clubs a lift, which we badly need.

Markus Gisdol - experience at huge clubs in a top league - Gegenpressing: counter pressing, worked closely with Rangnick - has improved teams quickly: Hoffenheim, HSV & Köln. Sackings too but very normal in 🇩🇪 - HSV & Köln faced general club challenges at the time - personable

I'm never confident in my stats, but I *think* that's the first time Celtic have lost two cup finals in the same calendar year since 1984? (Also a Scottish Cup final defeat to Aberdeen that year).

@Leslie_KClark @BBCSportScot In 93/94 the title was done long before the end of the season. It only got to 3 points because Rangers didn't win any of the last five games. And the thread doesn't say it was really close in 05-06. It points out Hearts had a good start, similar to now.

@BBCSportScot Thread misses Aberdeen missing out by 3pts in 1993-94 and 9pts in 2017-18. But it was *really close* with Hearts in 2005-06, just a mere 17pt gap between them and Celtic.
