Look at what just came in the post. Was not expecting this today. A happy surprise 👍😀

If I'm wrong then I take back the comment about the miserliness. Patients are complaining constantly to me That no one wants to see them and they just get pain meds then told to go home. It's happening all the time. Someone tell me what's going on.

I understand lockdown was a different situation. But what's the reason now?. Have staff in GP practises decreased?. Or is there another reason. If there isn't another reason then I'm forced to think that a certain amount is miserliness is to blame here and GP's need to say why.

So since I've been working as a physiotherapist for the passed 4 months. Patients have been complaining about GP's not wanting to see patients face to face anymore. Usually if they are seen over the phone or face to face they are getting pain meds and been told to just go home.

Today, my mum cried and told me she was broken. 40 years of being a nurse and she’s burnt out, fed up and contemplating not going back after this week off. The strongest woman I know, reduced to tears in my living room, as she told me “the NHS has broken me”. This can’t go on.
