@LaReed973 @Turbinetraveler it wasn't a big plane, and 2 i think it was human error with the pilot, i bet the pilot for the helo mistook the united airlines plane for the visual separation and didn't see the smaller plane which is the plane that they unfortunately collied with.

@Turbinetraveler The helicopter turned right into the path of the plane! Given the fact that helos are so much more maneuverable than a big passenger plane, this should never have happened! So close that the Army pilot should have had visual, so Air Traffic Control must have screwed up badly!
