Book is titled The Growth of Soil. Originally Norwegian, it won the Nobel Prize in 1920. It was recommended to me from a friend. Today's snowstorm really had my mind on the chapter so if 1900s fiction is your bag then I suggest you check it out.

Been reading a book that has three annoying supporting characters who hassle the main family at different points. Well, the chapter I finished this weekend had all three of them interacting with each other in a closed loop. 🧵
