I'd say there’s a high chance the Nottingham Forest home game will be on the Friday or Monday night, as #MUFC updated the game details on the website earlier this week to include both dates. They've never done that before, so I suspect they know something. All speculation, of course.

People sometimes ask why I post the things I do when I’m a supporter of the club. My answer is simple: I want us to feel supported and valued by the club — because I certainly don’t right now but I'd like to think that could change. I feel like a customer, not a supporter, and too many of the club’s decisions seem driven by revenue rather than strengthening the incredible support we give the team. As I’ve said before, there’s Manchester United the business, and there’s Manchester United the football club. Sadly, the football side just feels like one part of a much bigger commercial machine. With the size and passion of our fanbase, it’s obvious the business benefits hugely from our support — and they continue to do so. What worries me is that the more the club prioritises revenue over supporters — and yes, this applies to many Premier League clubs, the more disconnected the club and its fanbase become. I don’t think Manchester United the business cares much about that, and I’m not convinced the Premier League does either. When millions watch on TV compared to around 400,000 people attending matches on an average weekend, it’s easy to see why match-going supporters become a minority. Yet we’re also a huge part of what makes the Premier League so appealing in the first place. The Premier League, and every club within it, should take a moment to reflect on the match going supporter, the matchday experience and the value supporters bring to every single game, whether it’s televised or not.
