A long time ago--probably around 20 years back--I got a big omnibus of the 5 #HitchhikersGuide books, but I never got more than a short ways into it. Decided to change that and read the first book in the series this weekend. Enjoyed it! Looking forward to book 2.

This weekend I read "Alien: Prototype" by @TimWaggoner , which I got from him at @SuperstarsWrite . I enjoyed it! That was my first book in the #Alien expanded universe; I may well read more.

If you missed it, I released my sword and sorcery short story "Abhartach's Castle" as part of Mike Stackpole's "Chain Story" project! If you're looking for a story about witches traversing a desolate and dangerous land to fight evil, check it out!

@EggersGrimoire If you can find a copy of The Ultimate Werewolf by Byron Preiss, it's a great read. (Short story collection.) amazon.com/Ultimate-Werew…

I wanted to do something different for WERWULF WEDNESDAY. I’d like recs for werewolf books and movies or just your favorites. Definitely looking more for books than movies. I have some books on my TBR list as well. Any werewolf media is good media
Happy #WerewolfWednesday

@EggersGrimoire And if what you want is a really sad werewolf story, check out the anthology "Running With the Pack" -- all the stories involve werewolves, but the last story in particular, Susan Palwick's "Gestella," is a tearjerker.
