The sun was free. They sold you SPF 50 and a vitamin D deficiency. Sleep was free. They sold you an app, a pill, and a wearable that tells you your sleep was bad. Walking was free. They sold you a treadmill, a fitness tracker, and a £180 pair of trainers. Fasting was free. They sold you meal replacement shakes and the anxiety that skipping breakfast would wreck your metabolism. Cold water was free. They sold you a £3,000 plunge barrel and a podcast episode about it. Silence was free. They sold you a meditation app with a premium tier. Animal fat was cheap. They sold you seed oils, then supplements to replace what the animal fat contained. Tallow was cheap. They sold you a seventeen-step skincare routine and a clinical trial proving your face needs ceramides. Meat was cheap. They are currently selling you the idea that you shouldn't eat it. The 20th century removed access to everything the body needs to function. The 21st century is selling it back, one subscription at a time. Your great-grandmother had none of the products. She had all of the things.

Sales outreach was my biggest bottle-neck, and I didn't want to pay for a general tool like Apollo. So I built a sales outreach tool with built-in sequences, AI-generated sales outreach, and a gmail connector. Took about an hour and cost be $6 in tokens. Mindblown daily.

It's very realistic for a solopreneur to hit $10k, $20k, $30k+ in MRR by just building for SMB. We're going to see a proliferation of apps for SMB that were previously inaccessible to them. Every company will be tech-enabled.

Before, the cost of building software was too great and the investment only worked if you were selling enterprise contracts. Today, a solopreneur can build a fully functional application for specific use-cases. Given the low capital required, SMB becomes a realistic market.

We're entering the golden age for SMB in SaaS. Any company worth their salt is going to be able to build an internal tool and avoid the minimum $50k+ price tag for a SaaS product. But a SMB company probably can't build it themselves. The economics actually work for SMB now...

4. I first run Replit in plan mode, to fact-check the PRD, apply it to the context it has on my product, and start to build out the plan. This can happen simultaneously across multiple agents. 5. If all looks good, I'll flip Replit to build mode and go get a drink.
