@jmurf1 For example, let’s say the Houston B2B happened to be when Luka was hurt…Houston gets an advantage vs. playing them spread out. Steph, Giannis, Joker, SGA, Cade, Wemby, etc, same applies vs. spread out. Also bigger chance ticket buying fans miss superstars for same reason.

@jmurf1 When I travelled with the Lakers (think it was 18/19…may have been 19/20) we were in NY & Brooklyn on different trips. Love hanging out in NY, but it was absurd. Problem w/ baseball series B2B is it can give an unfair advantage due to injury & can eff fans for same reason.

Rough B2B. Suspect all 3 sit & prob should. Fewer than 82 games ain’t happening & the league is afraid of football so the marquee teams have games back loaded. Only real fix is extending season a week earlier & 3 weeks later. Can still avoid the NFL & essentially eliminate B2B.

@AnthonyIrwinLA There was a case to have JB ahead of Luka in MVP & maybe 1st Team All-NBA until 2 or 3 weeks ago. There’s no longer a credible case. Luka ain’t gonna win, but there’s a decent case for him 2nd…& if he finishes behind anyone but SGA, Joker & Wemby, throw it in 🗑️ & start over.

@AnthonyIrwinLA Vando’s impact defensively is minimized when you are blitzing KD every time he touches the ball. Austin, Luka, & LeBron were having trouble scoring and couldn’t get a bucket…adding Vando to that mix does not give me the warm fuzzies. Defense was never the problem tonight.
