My thoughts go to Tim Picton's family and friends on this deeply sad day. His loss will be felt deeply across WA and Australia.

I mourn the loss of Charlotte's father, Tim. He came to us in the West with a brilliant strategic mind and wonderful gift for humour. Tim's company was, simply, fun and irreverant, with a terrific policy and political mind. Like so many others, I will miss him. Vale.

Carly and my thoughts are with former Labor State Secretary and our mate Tim Picton, who is in a serious condition in hospital. The whole Labor team are thinking of him and his family during this difficult time. RC

Great to join forces with other industry groups today, calling for the burden of payroll tax to be lowered on WA small & family businesses. Its unfair WA businesses pay the highest payroll tax in the country. There is an easy fix, and we call on the state govt to provide relief.
