As the only charity dedicated to supporting young adults experiencing homelessness in Guernsey, AfC GYH wanted to spend World Homeless Day hearing their views. Thanks to the Islands post-16 settings for welcoming us & the amazing 150+ young adults for shared views.

We wanted to share some news this World Homelessness Day, we are growing (again)! Together with support from Maison Saint Pierre, @GuernseyCF, @lloydsbfci and @SIFGsy we are delighted to announce a new space with; - 5 training flats - 1 education suite - 1 emergency crashpad

Incredibly grateful to the Guernsey team @CareyOlsen for collecting suits & other items to give our in demand, free clothing rail a needed top up! Young people who need to dress more formal for interviews & proms now have access to clothing they may struggle to buy themselves.

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Guernsey for inviting us to their meeting to tell them more about our work preventing youth homelessness and tackling its causes.

Another room refresh complete! This time we have to say a huge thank you to the team at ARC for volunteering their time to help us paint and build furniture and to Saffery Rotary Walk for funding equipment for young people moving into our training flats!
