@anumness Argh that’s terrible a business account will require a new account but tbh people could just look up your company name on companies house and find your name and address still plus as a business you have to list that info on the store too

I plan to request a change to my developer account name so it reflects my company rather than my personal name. After yesterday’s fiasco I feel really unsafe. I should've done this ages ago.

Starting to think I should add Analytics to one of my new apps to try to understand its usage. What's everyone using these days, as I would like to avoid Firebase / Google Analytics

@BuildWithxAI No problem at all I think I drive my team crazy with the random things I find 😂 By the way the main screen showed £ and upcoming renewals it was just the edit screen that showed $

@AaronWardle Thanks Aaron! Your attention to detail is amazing The currency is $ by default but yeah I just saw you could change the renewal date and set it to a past date

@BuildWithxAI Looking good just spotted a couple of bugs though 1) add screen shows incorrect currency for my region 2) I edited an existing sub changed renewal date before today and it vanished off Home Screen but shows 1 active sub which I can’t see now?

1. Start with just recording your voice and pick some topics that should be easy i.e. what you did today, your plans for tomorrow, what your favourite hobby is etc - this is better than reading from a script. 2. Listen back to your recording to see how you did and make a count of non-words like erm um etc and make a note. 3. To reduce non-words it's all about pausing and we use them when we worry about being quiet and the brain is still thinking. 4. Rinse and repeat each day with a new topic keeping an eye on your non-word count they should start to dip. 5. Practice with video next, and also out in the world. Finally, good luck, you've got this 💪

Burning through credits, but so far the information coming back is good, and it's actually found me a few savings 🎊 - of course, I will be running the spreadsheets via my accountant.

Whoa, that was a slow review time with Apple. Finally, after 5 days, my app went into review and was approved within 2 minutes.

@ShipAloneCEO Thanks I think your right fast and easy sounds good so I’ll stick with stripe for now but will also checkout paddle and lemon in the near future as I have not used them before.

@AaronWardle Stripe is still the default for most new SaaS, mainly because of docs, ecosystem, and subscriptions. Worth also checking Paddle (handles tax/VAT) and Lemon Squeezy. If you just need a clean setup fast, Stripe + Stripe Billing is hard to beat.

In terms of SaaS products whats the best method for payment these days - I'm still assuming Stripe?

@deanpcmad Thanks I’ll add paddle to my list to checkout but think for this project I’ll stick with Stripe for now as I’ve used it in the past and it seemed ok 😎

@AaronWardle I'd say Stripe or Paddle Billing. Stripe do have a MoR service which is in beta, but their pricing could work out more than Paddle's standard 5% + 50c fee - all depends on the payment method, plus Stripe add additional on for subscriptions and such

I think that is partly the issue but most devs including myself don't know how to do marketing properly and when we do and see no results instantly it makes us think it's not worthwhile. However making an app we can see instantly the reward, a great coach said to be once marketing really takes months to see the true results

The reason that nobody is properly marketing their vibe coded apps is because they are not excited about them. There is no joy in promoting something that was built for you by a machine. You need to have some skin in the game.
