You should check your notes carefully and make sure they’re correct before bashing a gifted macro trader. Focusing only on what suits your case does not make a sound argument. You’re probably referring to his SECOND hedge fund, but you misrepresent as if the fund lost that much money through poor investments vs impatient or risk averse investors pulling money out. Not the same. You do have a point. His second hedge fund didn’t outperform his peers in consistency nor pure performance, but that doesn’t take away from his genius.

Hormuz Law to introduce fees on navigation and pollution in the Strait of Hormuz 2. Draft legislation also includes creation of a "regional fund" 3. The move is seen as an attempt to formalize long-term tolls on global shipping routes 4. The US has called these tolls on the Strait of Hormuz both "illegal" and "unacceptable" The Strait of Hormuz situation is becoming even more complicated.

You’re still going all over the place. Your argument would be more effective if you focused on the present topic. The problem is that the IRGC wants to implement the “Hormuz Law.” To extort their neighboring GCC or anyone else who uses the Strait of Hormuz. Even a coalition of GCC states emphasize that the IRGC cannot exist and threaten the region at will. Security is at risk. You’re okay with that because you claim Israel did genocide in Gaza and US was involved in Gulf Wars in the past? That has nothing to do with the current situation where the IRGC is the bad actor. Is Trump the same as Cheney? A country is forever tainted? By your logic, any bad actors could just go to Germany or Japan and murder innocents at will because of what happened in WWII? The logic fails exactly in how you’re trying to use moral equivalency to excuse the villainous acts of the IRGC right now or even their consistent “Death to America” goal. The post is about NOW. The IRGC specifically attacked hotels and airports on purpose to turn countries against the US, but instead proved how dangerous and reckless they are. That’s their actions backfiring. Specifically targeting innocent people is different than collateral deaths. There is a big difference in intent. If Israel wanted to genocide Gaza, why do they even bother to evacuate areas ahead of time? Why not just carpet bomb the whole place? That would be much faster and cheaper? What is your solution then? Since you paint US/Israel as forever bad actors, all other bad actors in the world get a free pass no matter what they do? If you are in the UK, your country does not even have the missile defense against the IRGC’s IRBM. The US provides protection for your country and you call the US a terrorist organization?
