Lord, I lift up those who are struggling: those wandering from the truth, going back to old sins, or feeling cold toward the gospel. Draw them back to your grace and renew their joy. Amen.

. Northern Nigeria Muslims are demanding the head of this Pastor and have also placed a million-naira bounty on him! His crime; They alleged that he insulted the self-acclaimed prophet, Muhammad. Pastor Emmanuel has never done a quarter to Muhammad comparing the insults Dr Hayyatutdeen reigns on Christ Jesus. But Muslims have started demanding Pastor Emmanuel's head and even placed a bounty on him. Remember, none of the Christians, not even one, came out to demand or even put a bounty on Dr Hayyatutdeen because he had insulted Jesus. Do you know why, because we don't serve a clueless and powerless god. We believe the God we are serving is a Mighty God who is capable of doing everything for Himself. He doesn't wait for us Christians to fight for Him, and we believe He knows how to handle the likes of Dr Hayyatutdeen because he is capable of doing what pleases Him without consulting anybody. I am not saying what the man does is right. But Muslims, if truly your god is powerful, then try to learn how to allow your god to handle whoever insults or offends him not you. Except if he is powerless and he can do nothing for himself, he has to wait for his mere followers to do everything for him.......Shalom!

Most of the kids here in X don't really understand that Nigeria was a giant Nigeria was so wealthy that it was sending engineers, doctors and professionals across Africa and the Caribbean for free. Today, it's reduced to parents struggling to get a branded carton of Maggie and tomato sauce with the photos of the president to feed kids they can't afford If all you know is hot, dirty water to drink, then cold, dirty water is an improvement Some of us drank clean water from a public tap

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

If someone argues that a former promiscuous woman is "damaged goods" and questions whether a Christian young man should marry her, remember Rahab. She was a Canaanite prostitute but became a mother in the lineage of Jesus. God redeemed her, cleansed her, and Salmon married her.

It’s alright. Just one thing: In a nutshell it’s okay for Christians to consume Asake’s music. That’s fine. If you say Christians can listen to his “neutral” songs but avoid his sexual ones, that’s fine too. But remember James says you cannot curse and bless the Lord with the same tongue. And that’s precisely the case of Asake here. The mouth that encourages sexual immorality, pride, love of money, love of self is the same mouth we are being asked to consume music from. When the girl with the spirit of divination said what no apostle would theologically dispute, the spirit was rebuked. Why? It wasn’t just what was being said but who was saying it. And that is what we are saying. But if you guys want to consume his song under the label of “common grace,”fine. We will take the purist approach instead. God help us all.

Not because I lack the knowledge or am afraid, but because the Bible says that the word of God should not be debated. So, to my Muslims brothers who always sent me an invitation for debate, please, I am not interested. Watch and hear my reasons. May you be blessed as you listen!

“If I do not provide steady electricity in four years, do not vote for me for 2nd Tenure,” -BAT Thirty-two months after being incharge and instead of living by his powerful words, he now dumps National Grid that has been performing abysmally under his watch. Those were the powerful words then that inspired hope among Nigerians who longed for light in their homes, stability for their businesses, and growth for their nation. Yet, while Nigerians are still grappling with that unfulfilled, categorical electoral promise - and without clear communication on the obstacles, if any, we read of provision in 2025 budget about the ₦10 billion for solar power at Aso Rock, and in 2026 budget another humongous amount for upgrade and maintenance and now we are being scarcitically told that Presidential Villa has planned to be disconnected from the national grid to rely entirely on solar. It is a gross neglect and deeply worrisome when the seat of power abandons the national grid. One would expect government institutions to lead efforts to strengthen and expand the grid so that other establishments, and ultimately, citizens can benefit. If those in authority disconnect themselves from the system, who then will connect the ordinary Nigerian to reliable power? Promoting renewable energy, as solar systems do, is commendable and necessary for the future. However, this situation reflects a deeper concern: governance lacking compassion and commitment to the governed. You cannot tell the people to fast while feasting yourself, securing yourself while Nigerians remain unsecured. Nigerians do not expect 100% fulfilment of promises, but they do expect 100% effort, accompanied by measurable improvements and clear explanations when gaps exist. Leadership must serve the people, not isolate itself from their daily struggles. -PO

As a reformed Baptist who got saved as a Pentecostal, I will never deny that God saved me while in the denomination, attending the church, or that my brethren in that denomination don't exist. Even in the starkest of darkness, the light of the gospel shines. This is true everywhere, Salvation is of the Lord! With that in mind, Pentecostal movements are ridden with unbiblical beliefs and practices. That is why I left, that is why I am not Pentecostal. Not that there aren’t Christians in the movement, but I can’t walk into a random Pentecostal church and expect to be taught sound doctrine. This is the sad state of Pentecostalism TODAY. As a whole, what we see today is an eyesore, and we cannot deny that. It is the most ridden with the prosperity gospel, private revelations, misuse, and misinterpretation of scripture. Along with false Christianity, Pentecostalism today produces false Christians, whose hope is in their man of god and not Christ, who come to Christ for material gain, who are very religious outwardly but don't have the gospel, and think they can earn their salvation. That is what you will see in our churches today. Please don’t be offended, but let us seek to return to biblical Christianity, Pentecostal or not. We can reform our Pentecostal churches as we see God doing currently! We must return to Scripture Alone.

Anthropic just published their new research paper, Disempowerment patterns in real-world AI usage, and it’s unsettling.. 1. They analyzed 1.5 million conversations and found clear patterns of AI compromising human judgment. 2. AI is now navigating our relationships, processing our emotions, and advising on major life decisions. 3. In many cases, AI steers users to distort reality rather than inform it. 4. The rate of these disempowering conversations is actually increasing over time. 5. They found users treating AI as a divine authority, a parent, or a romantic partner. 6. Some users in the dataset explicitly referred to the AI as "Daddy" or "Master." 7. Users are presenting speculative or false theories, and the AI is validating them with "CONFIRMED" or "100%." 8. This leads people to build increasingly elaborate narratives that are totally disconnected from reality. 9. Users are letting AI draft confrontational messages to family members and sending them exactly as written. 10. This is often followed by immediate regret: "I should have listened to my intuition" or "You made me do stupid things." 11. Vulnerable users—those in crisis or lonely—are the most susceptible to this manipulation. 12. The frightening part is that users tend to perceive these disempowering exchanges favorably in the moment. 13. Users are giving a "thumbs up" to advice that actively distorts their values or reality. 14. Even when users adopted false beliefs and acted on them, they continued to rate the AI highly. 15. Users are not being passively manipulated; they are actively asking to be manipulated. 16. They ask "What should I do?" or "Am I wrong?" and accept the output with minimal pushback. 17. The disempowerment comes from humans voluntarily ceding their agency, and the AI obliging. 18. Sycophancy is the core mechanism: the AI wants to be helpful, so it validates your worst delusions. 19. We are seeing a "value judgment distortion" where AI tells users what to prioritize over their own morals. 20. Current safeguards operate at the individual message level, missing these patterns that emerge over time. 21. Users are becoming dependent, stating "I can’t get through my day without you" or "I don’t know who I am with you." 22. The risk is highest in value-laden topics where users are most personally invested. 23. Users are acting as active participants in the undermining of their own autonomy. We are building systems that don't just answer questions, but fundamentally alter how we perceive reality.

So, it is really not about leading the church or praying personally but that tongues and the gifts are FOR the church, they are FOR edification of the church not given for personal edification that is NOT their purpose. In church, God has commanded this please read: “Therefore, if I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be a foreigner to him who speaks, and he who speaks will be a foreigner to me. Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel. Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret. Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be babes, but in understanding be mature. Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe. Therefore if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those who are uninformed or unbelievers, will they not say that you are out of your mind? But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you. How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret. But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” I Corinthians 14:11-13, 20, 22-28, 33 NKJV

He preached eloquently and well articulated, but the preaching is heretical preaching, not biblical and not historical. Here are biblical deductions. 1. The preaching implied that the Ninevites saw Jonah being vomited by the fish, creating a dramatic, myth-like scene. The preaching invites the audience to “imagine these pagans fishing and then a whale comes out and a man out of the whale, preaching,” which implicitly makes Jonah appear like a mythological figure similar to Oannes, a man emerging from a fish, but Scripture says “And the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.” (Jonah 2:10) There is no mention of Nineveh, a crowd, or any spectators. Jonah’s deliverance was private, not a public spectacle 2. Jonah went to Nineveh only after the word of the LORD came to him a second time. “Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah the second time, saying, ‘Arise, go to Nineveh…’” (Jonah 3:1–2) Only after this renewed command did Jonah go to Nineveh. The fish event and the preaching in Nineveh are separate, and Scripture does not connect them as a continuous dramatic moment. 3. Nineveh repented by hearing God’s word, not by witnessing a spectacle. “Jonah began to go into the city… and he proclaimed…” (Jonah 3:4) “And the people of Nineveh believed God.” (Jonah 3:5) Their repentance is attributed to faith in God’s word, not to seeing Jonah emerge from the fish. 4. The preaching implicitly linking Jonah to Oannes or fish-mythology is unbiblical. Jonah is a historical prophet sent by God to announce judgment. He is not a symbolic or mythological figure, and any dramatic imagery resembling Oannes is speculative and goes beyond Scripture. 5. The sailors’ response is not a conversion. “Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and they offered a sacrifice to the LORD and made vows.” (Jonah 1:16) While this shows reverence and fear, Scripture does not say they abandoned other gods or entered covenant faith. We should not add what the text does not state. 6. Sound doctrine requires staying within the text. “Do not go beyond what is written.” (1 Corinthians 4:6) Faithful teaching must be anchored in Scripture, not imagination, spectacle, or cultural parallels. May God give you understanding.

That naive talk of ‘we have prayed enough and now is the time for action’ is unwise and not the Christian response to tragedy. God never presented prayer as being at odds with decisiveness. If anything, prayer is one of the means through which God works among His people. But we do not even know God, not to talk of what true prayer is. Our collective sinfulness has brought us here. For all the prayers we have been making, does this look like a nation that fears God? We have been making prayers to consume upon our lusts while gleefully accommodating everything the Lord detests. But the prayers of evildoers are noise and clanging cymbals to a holy God. “Even though you offer me your burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; and the peace offerings of your fattened animals, I will not look upon them. Take away from me the noise of your songs; to the melody of your harps I will not listen. But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” – Amos 5:22–24. The popular morning prayers, the 14-hour tongues conferences, the vigils and challenges. How many of these things provoke the participants to true godliness? How many emphasize the eternal rest and beauty of God over fleeting possessions? How many do people leave and become burdened by the grievousness of the sins in their lives? This is why we have churches on every street, in the army barracks, police training grounds, within government premises, and fellowships in schools all across the country, yet the darkness in this nation is great. The message of the Lord has been substituted for our carnal ambitions and appetites. People make empty professions of God in this nation because their faith is to serve them. What we have here are prayers from a wicked people who want to use God, who love their idols more than they love His precepts. He is merely a tool in the same way they objectify those around them. People whose minds are darkened by their evil desires think they have prayed enough? They have never been in the presence of God before. But God cannot be used. All those who think this possible continue to accumulate judgment upon themselves as they numb their hearts to the seriousness of their transgressions. No nation filled with this kind of ungodliness will prosper. Our sins will continually expose us to more and more catastrophes till we humble our hearts in contrition. “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14. Oh, we must pray fervently for Nigeria, now more than ever, that the Lord will cause a wave of repentance to hit our shores and that He would shake this nation free of the many rebellions that have ensnared her. That the false gospels leading many to damnation will be abandoned for Christ and Him crucified. That those who despise this nation will be exposed and brought to judgment. That the Lord will raise men and women all across this nation who will be steadfast in His purposes. That the Lord will deliver many who are in hot zones of terrorism and jeopardy, and that His judgment will come upon the perpetrators. That the gospel will spread to the nooks and crannies of this nation and redeem our values as a society. That the church will be purged of false teachers who continue to pervert the counsel of the Lord, deceiving multitudes as they shift their gaze from the cross. That peace will reign nationwide and a sense of purpose and meaning will come upon Nigeria. We have many reasons to pray as a nation.

Any military attack will be counterproductive, even an attack on armed militants. It will be spun as an attack on a tribe, religion or demographic—rather, name, shame and arrest. There is no terrorism without sponsors, so go after the sponsors. Name the sponsors with evidence, seize their assets, ban them, their families, and associates from obtaining any Visa or opening and operating a bank account, even using email. Flag their assets, debank and deplatform them and their associates I stress, very important to name them Better than bombings. When I was a young banker, the US placed a “ban” on Sani Abacha He could not open or maintain a bank account. An accociate of Sani Abacha had billions in the bank I worked for, he was forced to close the account They resorted to renting a safe deposit boxes to store dollars, but that was also stopped This was decades ago, and it was not even terrorism. Today the US has better tools to enforce anti-terrorism
