3. They don’t allow you to grow: You may find that working for a toxic boss can lead to a lack of growth opportunities. This could be a lack of opportunity for training and development, or providing a lack of varied responsibility in your role. Do you have a toxic boss?

2. Expectations are too high. Sometimes a toxic boss can expect too much from the team, regardless of how hard you’re working. This often coincides with the manager not being “in the trenches” with the team, and rather giving instructions from the sidelines.
