there’s something deeply satisfying about small, solid habits. finishing a book. lifting something heavy. cooking a proper meal. checking in on someone. helping where you can. nothing flashy. just a life that feels stable in your hands.

my therapist was telling me today that there's no disappointment when you accept things or people for what they are. but you don't always have to cut people off when they don't meet your expectations sometimes you just have to adjust the relationship + accept their capacity.

i know the world is burning right now but i highly recommend loving someone who loves you back. i love love. in fact i love all forms of expression of love. life is just so much better that way. put yourselves out there. find your person. make the most of the short time we have.
