Day 8th, Learning & Building LLMs from Scratch Here’s what I learned today Transformers and Pt & Ft > How LLMs are actually trained ~ Pretraining > Model trained on massive unlabeled text (internet, books, etc.) > Learns general language patterns ~ Finetuning > Trained on labeled datasets > Makes the model useful for specific tasks (classification, translation, assistants etc.) Also went deeper into Transformers⚡ > Encoder takes input text and converts it into embeddings > Decoder generates "output one word at a time" > That’s how models produce full sentences Originally built for translation* [ English -> German or French ] Still early, but this is getting clearer day by day ~ Always be 2 steps ahead of our time > By Me Soon building india's 0labs beyond the limits. ~ have few time till 2030 [ Only 1,358 days ] Have a nice day!
