Hi all, I've got three major announcements to make today! 🎉 1. I've been promoted to a Scoped Approver role for the Upstream Argo Project (Argo CD). I would like to extend a big thank you to all the maintainers who nominated me for the Scoped Approver role. I look forward to contributing extensively to the project. 2. I'll be leading the upcoming Argo CD release, i.e, v3.2, which is scheduled to be out on November 3, 2025. 3. Lastly, I'll be speaking at KubeCon North America as well as ArgoCon in Atlanta this year. I've got the following sessions marked: - A maintainers' panel discussion with Argo CD maintainers at ArgoCon on things that happened behind the first Argo CD major release since 2021, v3.0, along with @crenshaw_dev Alexander Matyushentsev, Regina Voloshin, and Leonardo Luz Almeida. - A 1-hour workshop on contributing to the Argo Project along with Alexandre Gaudreault, Codey Jenkins, and Peter Jiang at KubeCon (sched.co/27Nko) - A maintainer's talk along with @maria_fibonacci at KubeCon (sched.co/27FYt) On a side note, today marks my first work anniversary, and I'm grateful for all the opportunities that have come my way. Even if you’re not familiar with every tool or company, you might come across something that really clicks with your interests. 3️⃣ Find a group and enjoy the socials Being with a group helps break the ice and makes networking easier. day 1 of building & scaling a saas to $0 to $1k/month 🚀 I've got: • zero marketing skills. • little bit of coding skills. • But, what I have is - a WANT to build something that SOLVES a problem! Spent this week researching for ideas on reddit, product hunt, freelance websites etc. One key lesson I’ve picked up from some amazing indie founders: "There's no need to reinvent the wheel. Find something that's already working & make it better!" So here’s the game plan: • find out 4-5 pain killer problems within 1 week • build an MVP within the next 2-3 weeks. • we launch, test, iterate If it gains traction, we double down.
