Over the last 2 months this has definitely been the biggest challenge & learning curve for me! I am a busy person who is on the go 24/7 so being diagnosed with Lupus & EDS being told to ‘Rest’ and slow down has drove me mad! But I’ve had a better few days & managed short walk! 🙏

@s24_shelley Ahhh Shell I didn’t know. It’s an awful condition isn’t it! Mine has affected my kidneys 😔 and the fatigue from the flare up is something else! 😴 I’m hoping that I can get it under control and back in a routine asap xxx

@AbbeyGriff Abbey, I am also a lupus sufferer. Luckily for me mine is dormant predominantly and only tends to flare up when I’m pregnant or under severe stress and very run down. Hope you are doing ok.

This has taken over my life the last few weeks! 💔 Am I ever going to feel like me again? 😭

@cherimidwife Thank you I think I underestimated how difficult the impact of diagnosis & symptom control would have on me. I don’t seem to be getting better quickly infact quite the opposite, but slow and steady wins the race as they say 🙃 taking time to process and focus on getting better x

@AbbeyGriff Sorry to hear you’re going through this. What I can tell you as someone with chronic illness is that you will find a new ‘you’ ❤️ you just have to make sure you’re looking after yourself though, that’s rule number 1!

Fantastic Care & Compassion from @CwmTafMorgannwg PCH A&E & SAU over the last 24hrs for my 81 year old grandfather! Flawless assessment and fast intervention from both Drs & Nurses! Some Fantastic Student Nurses up on SAU today too, really demonstrating patient centred care ❤️

@USWHealthcare Met some lovely student nurses working on SAU Ward 6 PCH today who were providing care for my grandfather! I have to say I was in complete awe of the compassion and patient centred care demonstrated! They are going to be some amazing future nurses! 👏🏻🤩❤️

Would like to say a Huge thank you to Rob & Steve from @WelshAmbulance CTM for quite literally using their advanced practice skills &knowledge and saving my 81 year old grandfathers life on his birthday! Your compassion was incredible! Forever grateful for our NHS & Colleagues 🚑
