This is Sheikh Muhiyudeen al-Kurdī, he taught the Quran for 72 years in Damascus. He was one of the most senior teachers in Syria who taught the Quran to the majority of today's Muslim Ummah. He passed away but left the world smiling. He left knowing there was nothing better than teaching the Quran and reciting it. He was a companion of the Quran who left the world smiling ear to ear. May Allah bless him and honour him for serving His din. May Allah make us all from the people of the Quran so that when we depart this world we are also smiling! Ameen Ya Rabb🤲🏾
