Made a short video game level soundtrack for the bigmode game jam. The game didn’t end up coming to fruition but I’m happy with the song. It was intended for a nuclear powerplant themed platformer.

wokeup today finding my apartment got flooded overnight. water was toe deep reaching to the front door... and my PC. took a few hours but the water's gone and the PC is thankfully fine. had a bit of a heart attack thinking my files were gone. sorry for worrying people earlier

Latest draft of my Flop To It cover. Haven't done any effects or mixing yet, this draft was just for finishing the structure and finalizing the quantization.

@niggawithaface @jawshonthebeat Man I’m using a MPK249 and GarageBand on my old MacBook Pro 2015 and I’m stunned by how many tools I have. The patch library is also more than sufficient for me as of now.

Here’s my first ever project! It’s a very rudimentary rendition of the intro to Flop To It from Splatoon 3. I intend to do the whole song, this is a WIP. If anyone seeing this has advice on how to polish and improve it, it would be most welcome!

Replicating songs that I’m already familiar with, in order to learn the software and the keyboard. I hope to share all this with you guys and learn a lot!

I’ll be posting progress, asking for input, and generally sharing my experience learning to cover songs. My unrealistic, never-gonna-happen-in-a-million-years dream is to have a song published on a GameChops album. That would be insane. I’m starting with the basics, 2/3
