🎙️ The Man Behind the Mic The Voice of Gulu City Oktoberfest 2025 🎙️
Every successful event has a heartbeat and for the Gulu City Oktoberfest 2025, that heartbeat has been powered by one man with a microphone, unmatched energy, and flawless professionalism.
From Day 1 to Day 7, he kept the entire festival alive with rhythm, confidence, and composure. He didn’t just moderate he created connections, maintained flow, and ensured that every segment of the event transitioned seamlessly. His ability to engage both the audience and dignitaries while balancing entertainment with corporate tone makes him one of the finest event moderators in Northern Uganda.
Handling a week-long festival filled with cultural showcases, performances, marathons, and corporate sessions is no easy task but he did it with grace, humor, and exceptional skill. Whether it was introducing the Mayor, hosting our guests from Germany, or guiding the audience through each performance, his presence brought class and professionalism to every moment.
He’s not just a moderator; he’s a voice of excellence and a bridge of communication between cultures, communities, and celebrations. The success of this year’s Oktoberfest is a reflection of his commitment, discipline, and passion for what he does.
Here’s to the man who turned every session into an experience and every announcement into a celebration the official Moderator of Gulu City Oktoberfest 2025. 👏🎙️

A thought-provoking Ugandan film directed by @usamamukwaya & produced by @KasUganda and South Sudan that tackles the pressing issue of disinformation in our society, especially during this election period.

With the Northern Uganda Youth Parliament in Gulu, we conclude a powerful round of Subregional Youth Parliaments across Uganda. From Ankole to Rwenzori, Busoga, West Nile, Central, Eastern, and Northern, young people gathered to debate urgent issues such as unemployment, political exclusion, education reform, mental health, land justice, climate change, and transitional justice.
Through motions and fierce debate, youth called for lower nomination fees, inclusive civic spaces, vocational training, reparations for conflict survivors, climate financing, and greater youth involvement in governance. They also spotlighted corruption, social media censorship, and barriers faced by young people with disabilities.
These parliaments were not symbolic, they were evidence of what happens when young voices are heard, respected, and trusted to lead.
We extend deep appreciation to our partners for the 8th Northern Uganda Youth Parliament: @Parliament_Ug @HashtagGulu @centre4policy @GCSP_Uganda @giz_uganda @EU_YSBUg and @EUinUG for fuelling this movement toward a more inclusive, youth-led democratic future.
