The band's representative on Aberystwyth Town Council, Cllr Mair Benjamin, was also present at the meeting and gave her thanks on behalf of the council for all that the band does to promote the town. CONGRATULATIONS to Jacob and Paul. @CyngorAber @CambrianNews @BBCWalesNews

The inaugural award was presented to Jacob Williams by Angharad Davies, John's daughter. The band was grateful to Angharad for coming to present this award. @tjdaviesandson @CambrianNews

At the band's Annual General Meeting held on Valentine's evening, 14th February, the band was pleased to present the annual T E Jenkins / E Ll Jones award to Paul Davies in appreciation and recognition of his services to the band. The award was presented by Chair Ivan Anchant
