From where I stand, Peter Obi is simply telling Igbos in the diaspora what they want to hear in order to attract more donations and political support. Nothing more, nothing less. Obi's proposal for dialogue sounds much simpler in theory than it would be in practice. Any Nigerian president would face domestic, military, legal, and international constraints when dealing with groups like ISWAP or any agitator.
