Applied to quantum dots, this method changes how autonomous labs generate and use data, unlocking turbo mode for the discovery of advanced functional materials that address urgent energy and sustainability challenges.

By continuously mapping transient conditions to steady-state outcomes, our approach delivers (at least) 10×-100× more data with less time and fewer chemicals compared to the status quo.

This strategy aligns resource efficiency with discovery speed and empowers AI agents with richer, more reliable data streams.

Rather than retrofitting conventional reactors and instruments into autonomous workflows, we advocate for a bottom-up SDL design that treats every unit operation not just as a chemical transformation step, but also as a data-generating process module.
