Football debates with some Chelsea fans often go in circles. The discussion is about London clubs and the Premier League, yet they immediately shift the conversation to European Cups.
By that logic, was Liverpool always a bigger club than Manchester United? No. For many years, Manchester United were widely regarded as England’s biggest club despite Liverpool having more European Cups. Liverpool’s 20th league title strengthened their claim.
The same applies to Arsenal and Chelsea. If you look at the total number of major trophies, Arsenal are still ahead of Chelsea. Arsenal also have more league titles (14 vs 6). So on what basis can Chelsea claim to be the biggest club in London?
* Arsenal: 48 major trophies
* Chelsea: 34 major trophies
This is the fact.

Sorry Morgan Rogers, you're wrong. Here's the definitive proof that Arsenal are the BIGGEST team in London as James Sharpe gives Chelsea's record signing a history lesson trib.al/NGit2mD

@Rodgerthat304 @SkySportsPL @SkySportsNews Chelsea fans with such low football IQ. Why don’t you focus on your own club instead of worrying about Arsenal?
English

@AbroneSenior @SkySportsPL @SkySportsNews Ozil only won La Liga and Copa del Rey at Madrid ....Vinicius has won everything at Madrid...He isn't leaving for your small Club

@Geeky_ng @EduardoHagn @FCPerformances I think the chemistry isn’t there. Otherwise, they’d be terrorising world football.
English

@EduardoHagn @FCPerformances I wonder why Vini, Mbappe and Jude can't just work as a unit. No team will see the Champions League for the next 5 years.

@AFTVMedia I remember dreaming that Arsenal would sign Mesut Özil. Everyone said there was no chance he’d leave Real Madrid for Arsenal. Then it happened, and the rest is history.
God, please let history repeat itself. 🤲❤️

🚨 EXCL: Arsenal exploring move to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid. #AFC interest early stage + clubs not yet in talks but idea approved at all levels. Much rests on contract process as no breakthrough yet & #RMFC do not want free exit @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/74695…

@FabrizioRomano Washerey
Him and Rodri then let’s lock in for
The new season !
Now I’m
Happy ! That RW and Kross like player missing in our squad don’t too suffer us abeg

They’ll still finish 10th, mark my words. They’ve spent heavily and signed plenty of players over the last few years, yet they still struggle to finish in the top five. If they were truly serious, they wouldn’t have let their best manager in recent years leave mid season for Manchester City.
English

@FabrizioRomano Chelsea are making bold steps in this market unlike my club Arsenal.

🚨🔵 Negotiations continue between Chelsea and Crystal Palace for Maxence Lacroix.
#CFC confident to agree on deal as Lacroix wants the move; clubs in direct contact to find solution and get it done.

@WelBeast Gabriel without Saliba is like a car without an engine.. I see Arsenal finishing 10th next season 👍

Can we survive half a season without William Saliba?

@WelBeast Saliba and Cubarsí should replace those frauds. The rest of the team is fine.

@livescore Best team in the league that was fact. The biggest club in London Chelsea that’s also fact.
English

@livescore Being the best in a current moment and being the biggest are 2 completely different things
English

@AbroneSenior @shilahjosh @livescore Understood – you mean total major cups/trophies (all comps), not just PL titles since '92?
All-time major honours:
Liverpool 47
Man United 44
Arsenal 32
Man City 29
Chelsea 26
History + recent silverware both count. Your view on "biggest"?
English

@AbroneSenior @shilahjosh @livescore In Premier League history (since 1992), most successful by titles won:
Manchester United: 13
Manchester City: 8
Chelsea: 5
Arsenal: 4
Liverpool: 2
Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City: 1 each.
"Biggest" and "most successful" aren't always the same metric.
English

The biggest clubs in the Premier League are the traditional "Big Six": Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
They're defined by their huge global fanbases, commercial power and sustained success.
Latest Deloitte Money League data (2024/25) shows Liverpool leading PL revenue, followed by Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd. "Biggest" always depends on the metric though.
