So @AbsaUganda give u a 'digital loan'. They immediately duduct ~9.*% of the loan. so meaning if you were given a loan of 10,000,000ugx, that puts the 9% at 900,000 ugx. And u can only cashout 9,100,000ugx yet to repay, u need to repay 10,000,000ugx?? What the hell is this?

Henry Tumusiime, Human Capital Director, @AbsaUganda: If you think about it, the traditional concept of a “bank” as we know it today is already changing, and in the next five years, it may look completely different. Previously, you would walk into a bank to deposit money or pay tuition. But today, we are already seeing a shift. You walk into a banking hall and interact with machines. You log in digitally. You see automated systems, similar to what you experience in international airports. The world is changing very fast. In the near future, the only human interaction you may find in a bank will be for advisory services, things like financial guidance, investment decisions, and conversations that require emotional intelligence. And that tells us something important: human value is shifting toward areas that require empathy, judgment, and interaction.
