#Hertshour We're busy submitting the first claims for furloughed staff for our clients today, now the HMRC portal is available. Money should be flowing to businesses within 10 days now, but only if the claims are submitted!

We're still crossing fingers,toes & everything else that support for director/owners of limited companies will be improved. We've had positive engagement from the FSB, who are in the room with the Chancellor inputting into the debate, and we know it is being looked at #Hertshour

#Hertshour Letters have been arriving with clients from Local Authorities about the small business grants where they get rate relief. Authority websites all have claim forms online to complete. If you are entitled to the grant, don't just wait for them to contact you necessarily

#Hertshour Lots of businesses furloughing staff to protect cash flow. Did you know that Directors can furlough themselves too? If businesses stops to a point where they dont have anything to do for at least 3 weeks, they can claim too. Covers 80% of salary though, not dividends

#hertshour We were approached over the w/end by companies whose accountants are under too much pressure to handle all clients at the moment and have suggested they go elsewhere. We're looking after all of ours-working odd hours maybe,but trying to make sure no one is left behind
