Trying to turn a core teenage memory into a track. 🎧 I wanted to capture that massive, reckless energy of standing on the edge of a pier with a huge group of friends and just jumping into the dark. Fused some Melodic Dubstep with early 2010s Pop-Punk nostalgia for this one. If you grew up in this era, I hope this makes you feel something. Let me know what you think of the drop! 🎸🔥 #MusicProduction #EDM #PopPunkNostalgia #NewMusic

Americans largely oppose the war on Iran. But the war is very popular among Washington think tanks, who are flush with more than $44 million from weapons companies since 2019 and act as the war’s loudest cheerleaders across major media networks 🧵

@JTLonsdale Welcome to Joe’s unresolved post-9/11 power fantasy, where he self-soothes his inner 25-year-old who still thinks wars are just video games with zero consequences.

Balaji is a bright guy but he fled the USA and has set his mind totally against our future success. He lives in a world where US is losing and China is winning. This is his fixation. It’s dangerous, and it’s wrong. And this war has embarrassed China, destroyed their 100 cargo planes of war materials and their military ally, and frustrates them. It’s fair to disagree about the attack. But saying that its architects are guilty of any downside is childlike nonsense. They should be proud of their work and their courage to take on this evil. If you’re against the war, do you get credit for the last two decades of literal mass torture and mass rape and repression by this regime, and its terror funding and death around the region? Do you get credit for “supporting” the billions it spends on social media bots and information operations to polarize the US against ourselves, and weaken the west? Do you also get credit for what would have been the next twenty years of that? Are you, Balaji, responsible for that side of it? No? But if you are for it, you get zero credit for fixing any of that, but blamed for ALL the possible downsides? Total BS. The mullahs holding the region hostage shouldn’t get your help to blame others for the damage they do. Geopolitics and war is complex and there are risks on all sides. There is risk in acting, and in not acting. I’m really glad we are taking advantage of the massive innovation and competence gap that exists at this moment, and finally eliminating so much evil. I hope for freedom for the Iranian people and know that the situation is hard and complex, but either way it is good to stop the bad guys and eliminate so many of the worst groups, who have done so much damage, from history. Nobody should get away with what those bastards did for so long; this was long overdue.

I'm going to make some obvious points. (1) Blowing up all the oil infrastructure in the Middle East is an insane idea, and may well result in a global economic crash and humanitarian crisis unrivaled in the lives of those now living. We're talking about the price of everything everywhere rising, from food to gas, at a moment when inflation was already high. All of that will be laid at the feet of the authors of this war. (2) The antebellum status quo of Feb 27, 2026 was just not that bad, but we're unlikely to return to it. Expect indefinite, long-term, ongoing disruptions to everything out of the Middle East. (3) Also assume tech financing crashes for the indefinite future. The genius plan to get the Gulf states caught in the crossfire has incinerated much of the funding for LPs, for datacenters, and for IPOs. Anyone in tech who supported this war may soon learn the meaning of "force majeure" as funding gets yanked. (4) Many capital allocators will instead be allocating much further down Maslow's hierarchy of needs, towards useful basic things like food and energy. (5) It's fortunate that all those progressives yelled about the "climate crisis." Yes, their reasoning about timelines was wrong, and much of the money was wasted in graft, but the result was right: we all need energy independence from the Middle East, pronto. It's also fortunate that Elon and China autistically took climate seriously. Now they're going to need to ship a billion solar panels, electric vehicles, batteries, nuclear power plants, and the like to get everyone off oil, immediately. (6) It's not just an oil and gas problem, of course. It's also a fertilizer problem, and a chemical precursor problem. Maybe some new sources will come online at the new prices, but it takes time to dial stuff up, particularly at this scale, so shortages are almost a certainty. That said, China has actually scaled up coal-to-chemicals[a,c] (C2C), and there's also something more sci-fi called Power-to-X[b] which turns arbitrary power + water + air into hydrocarbons. But all of that will need to get accelerated. I have a background in chemical engineering so may start funding things in this area. (7) Ultimately, this war is going to result in tremendous blame for anyone associated with it. It's a no-win scenario to blow up this much infrastructure for so many people. Simply not worth it for whatever objective they thought they were going to attain. But unless you're actually in a position to stop the madness, the pragmatic thing to do is: scramble to mitigate the fallout to yourself, your business, and your people. Iran attacked Israel via CCTV intel. Mossad HQ, military camps, oil tankers & bunkers for key meetings were hit. Reports indicate 1,100 killed & 1,500-2,000 soldiers injured. Iran is ready for any land adventure by U.S. and Israeli forces.

Absolute bombshell. Mearsheimer reveals Trump secretly allowed Iran to sell its oil to keep global prices under 100 dollars. But Israel intentionally bombed Iranian gas fields to ruin the plan, sending prices skyrocketing and destroying the US economy.

Three Palestinian women from the Masalmeh family were killed in an Iranian missile attack last night. We send their family our heartfelt condolences. This is a tragic reminder that Iran’s missiles do not distinguish between Jew, Muslim or Christian—they aim to kill us all.

Holy sites damaged in Iran due to Israeli attacks recently: • Masjed-e Jāme (Jameh Mosque) of Isfahan... Iran’s oldest Friday mosque and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, central to Islamic architecture and daily prayers. • Imam Mosque (formerly Shah Mosque / Shah Abbas Mosque) in Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Isfahan • Several other unnamed mosques around Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Isfahan

To our Jewish community: This is what’s happening in the West Bank right now. A Palestinian man describes a brutal sexual assault by Israeli settlers amid a wider pattern of escalating terror and impunity allowed by the state. We have to see Palestinians’ humanity – and the reality of their abuse at the hands of other Jews – and ask what kind of country Israel is becoming. Then demand a different path.
CNN International@cnni

Israeli settlers have increasingly used violence against Palestinians in a bid to drive them from their homes in the occupied West Bank. But sexual assault appears to be a new weapon in these settlers’ arsenal of intimidation, pointing to a troubling new level of violence. cnn.it/4du8vj6

Bless your AIPAC-funded little heart. The only people who still like you are the ones who wrote you a $2.6 million check to rubber-stamp blank-check war money from your D.C. La-Z-Boy. To say you're “proud” to “free the Palestinian people” from their oppressors… Give me a fucking brake you goddamn weak ass loser. Free them how? By never once bothering to look at the conditions your policies help create? Effie actually went there on her own dime. You? You just cashed the lobby’s checks, shoved that Israeli ball gag in your mouth and called it “statesmanship.” Congratulations, you’re not a leader, you’re a pathetic walking receipt with a mouth. NY-17 deserves better than this warmongering marionette. Time to send Rubber-Stamp Mike packing.

I think it’s wonderful that all the antisemitic, Marxist lunatics at @TrackAIPAC are opposed to me and are instead supporting @effie4congress! I’m proud to stand for a strong US-Israel relationship, including freedom, democracy, and economic prosperity. As Middle East Chair, I’m proud to help lead to effort to eradicate the Iranian terror regime and its proxy network — Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, among others. I look forward to helping free the Palestinian people from their oppressors — the Palestinian Authority and Hamas.
AIPAC Tracker@TrackAIPAC

We are proud to endorse @effie4congress in #NY17! While Rep. Mike Lawler sits in Washington rubber-stamping billions in military aid to Israel, Effie went to Palestine to see the reality for herself. She self-financed a trip to witness the apartheid conditions firsthand: the checkpoints, the land theft, the daily humiliation of an occupied people. She returned with something Lawler will never have, the moral clarity that comes from bearing witness. Lawler's record is a monument to the Israel lobby. He votes for every weapons package, backs legislation to silence speech critical of Israel, and enables the genocide unfolding in Gaza. He answers to AIPAC, not the families of the Hudson Valley. Effie Phillips-Staley offers the change this district needs: a representative who has seen the truth and refuses to look away. She rejects all Israel lobby money, condemns the genocide unequivocally, and demands an immediate arms embargo. She knows that every dollar spent on bombs abroad is a dollar stolen from schools, healthcare, and working families here at home. Lawler votes for war. Effie will vote for peace. Simple as that.

💢 Netanyahu calls to bypass Hormuz with pipelines west from Saudi Arabia to Israel ICC-fugitive Israeli PM PM Benjamin Netanyahu said the world must move beyond reliance on vulnerable maritime “choke points” like the Strait of Hormuz, which remains effectively shut. 🔸He said a product of the war on Iran could be: ➤ new oil and gas routes that bypass both Hormuz and the Red Sea entirely ➤ specifically pipelines running west across the Arabian Peninsula to Israeli ports ➤ Said such projects would “do away with the choke points forever” and stabilize global energy flows ➤ Tied the plan to his long-standing “land bridge” vision linking Asia to Europe through Israel Netanyahu also claimed the war with Iran could end “a lot faster than people think,” and that these projects could follow quickly.
