📢 ON TURNIT/IN FLAGGING & FALSE AI DETECTIONS In light of the ongoing discussion about Turnit/in’s reliability in AI detection, I’d like to share my personal experience and the challenges I’ve been facing in keeping flags low despite the guaranteed exclusion of any AI-generated content in my recent deliverables. I’ve noticed this issue recurring particularly after the platform’s recent maintenance. The main concern is that reducing these flags often requires compromising the overall quality of the content—which, for me, defeats the very purpose of having it professionally commissioned in the first place. That said, I am sincerely grateful for the clients who understand the reality of false flags and acknowledge that these outcomes are beyond my control. I also appreciate the continued trust they place in my work, despite the detection results, not just from Turnit/in but from other platforms as well, as AI detectors have long been proven to be far from 100% reliable. With this, I intend to create a thread of tweets and sentiments from fellow commers to raise awareness among clients, especially those who are new to the community, and to help promote better understanding among current and potential clients.
