The OK-KS was a static and structural (non-flying) testbed for the Soviet Buran space program, completed in August 1983. Unlike the flying models, the OK-KS was used at NPO Energia to validate electrical systems, software, telemetry, and pneumatic-hydraulic tests. 📸🚀

One of the prime reasons why mAh is stupid when it comes to battery capacity measurement. Whoever thinks a phone's 7,000mAh battery is better than this laptop's 5,360mAh battery needs to be sent to a mental hospital. ALWAYS use Wh.

/LTS/ T-75 3d model demonstration from 2024. These are dated and DO NOT REPRESENT THE CURRENT FORM OF THE PLANE, as there have been changes. I thought these pics were wide known and published already, but I couldn’t find any post on Twitter.

Personal opinion(!), the idea of a strike-multirole to replace Su-17 and MiG-27 reminds me of T-75 project. Unlike «Su-37», LTS is not agile or “fighter like”, but envisioned from the start to be cheap, unified and, most importantly, simple. Really hope to see its success soon!

This confusingly name «Su-37» is one of my favorite “early 90-ies” projects. Delta-canard arearuled modular multirole strike aircraft made to replace the whole range from Su-25 to MiG-23(37) and even export MiG-21 is something previously not seen in Soviet designs. 1/3

@GeorgeN28581 Let's be honest, part of the reason people like it is because it looks different and cool due to its black paint. But related to these concepts of the time, what do you know about the single engine concept?

@TailosiveEV @SawyerMerritt The connector on the prior Semi was an early version (v2.4) of MCS. Not "proprietary" as anyone could have used it. We couldn't wait for final design to have >1MW capability, so we ran with what had been developed thus far. New Semi has latest MCS that is set to be standard

NEWS: Tesla's redesigned Semi truck has just been spotted for the first time ever. • Model Y style light bar • More efficient • Increased payload capability • 1.7kWh/mile (15% improvement vs old Semi) • Designed for autonomy • 500 mile range • 1.2MW (1,200kW) peak charging speed • 800kW drive power • Side windows don't go as far back • Silver anti-slip diamond traction strips on side steps • A lot more under the skin improvements Volume production starts in the first half of 2026, with customer deliveries around that time.

T-50-2 makes its first flight with izd. 177 engine. Astonishing how it is T-50-2 third engine. Built with izd. 117, tested early izd. 30 (serrated nozzle), then late izd. 30 (hexagonal nozzle) and now izd. 177 Source: t.me/uac_ru/3969

@AatishKapoort @GeorgeN28581 @Mack8miltech Su-47 had s-ducts. S-ducts eat up too much of internal volume. Combined with internal weapon bays you end up with not having much room for fuel, meaning less range. Radar blockers are more cost-effective way.

Bureau 1440 shows their user terminal prototype designed to work on trains As the company says, this variant should work in temperatures ranging from -50 °C to +50 °C, have a stable connection when moving at up to 400 km/h, and be resistant to vibrations.

@GeorgeN28581 @Mack8miltech @Flankerchan Why was the model shown with the flat nozzle? People will assume that Su-57E (177) will come with a flat nozzle and not round serrated one.

@GeorgeN28581 @HeatB45409 Heard that 177S can have increased thrust but then service life will decrease. This 177S version with increased thrust is ment for Su-57E.

@HeatB45409 It has relatively the same static thrust, a tiny bit better subsonic SFC, but has greater thrust on supersonic without afterburner, is easier to maintain and has more service life

AL-51F1 is product 30. Product 177S is a different engine. It has some AL-51F1 tech in it, but those are two different engines. 177S is mainly made for replacing AL-31F(product 99) on T-10 family aircraft, such as Su-30MKI. It also can be used on Su-57E “30” won’t be exported.

@rvcbrice @strike_masa 1. Currently there are “stealth” requirements with shaping affecting aerodynamics. RAM coating is a delicate substance, it is very hard to make it consistently survive mach 3 flights without loosing effectiveness. 2. MiG-35 is almost dead. Export 75 will be better in every way
