@generalquixote @palebloodstasi so why does Scotland not require dismantling too? Or do colonial crimes have to reach an arbitrary level of evil before the state responsible for them should be dismantled? Do Germany/France/Belgium/Netherlands/Turkey qualify? Where’s the line?

@generalquixote @palebloodstasi Genuinely curious about the logic here from a leftist POV - Scotland prior to Union was involved in a number of colonial schemes and would certainly have continued had the Darien scheme not bankrupted them. Any European state with geopolitical aspirations was doing the same -
