@albony4n @yandhiisntreal He literally tells you that. The only way not to get this dialogue is to end the fight by beating him up, which the game actively teaches you is a bad idea in like 99% of the cases anyway.

@yandhiisntreal The sword minigame in chapter 3 is where the game is supposed to inform and instruct you on the weird route, so I assume weird route was always planned with subsequent playthroughs in mind.

It's cool when the mechanics + storytelling can be in harmony, but sometimes you gotta cheat just a little
