If that were the case, the two were not in contact before Frieza blew up the planet, hence Beerus couldn't have suggested him anything.

As I’ve been saying beerus wasn’t the reason for their destruction, it was always ultimately up to frieza on IF, beerus simply pushed the WHEN. bringing up rof is just not relevant to this conversation regardless of you’re right or wrong

@OrehCursor Not really necessary, the original trilogy is just recompilations telling mostly the same story with missing episodic beats. If you've seen the shows, the movies add no new context and at best would be good for a quick recap unless you're curious about the actual changes.

@TohsakaRinVIII @OrehCursor From what I remember, he just throws out an earlier mention of Newtypes, but otherwise that plot thread hasn't really changed. Most other changes are just cutting out some episodic stuff and replacing some vehicle designs.

@OrehCursor tomino talks about newtypes a lot early on and changes certain dialogues to focus on them instead and that changes some conflicts and recontextualizes different stuff, or thats what she tells me and shows me at least, i havent seen the movies myself

Additionally, Frieza speaks of his dad's warning about Beerus in RoF as if he hadn't been in the contact with him before and only heard about him.
