For her birthday this year, 7th grader Lucia gave the gift of literacy to children in the Bay Area’s underserved communities! Lucia created a birthday book drive to gather books for our upcoming library refurbishment including books from our wishlist. Thank you Lucia!

We are back! Check out pictures from our first full volunteer day since the start of the pandemic. About 40 volunteers helped process books, assemble furniture, and paint colorful and cheerful murals at our current school library revitalization at Santee Elementary in San Jose.

Thank You Aiden F.! The work we do is made possible by student leaders like Aiden from the @boyscouts. Aiden not only built and installed two little free libraries, he also led a campaign to acquire diverse books to fill each library for our Read in Color program!
