Bottom line: These momentary, directed, and one sided analyses do not show the complete picture at all, and the deliberate lies and distortions clearly reveal the real intentions behind them. The traditional enemy of the Arabs, heavily supported with money and politics by the West and by America in particular is Israel. So how the hell does Mark Cancian come along and fabricate stories about Saudi Arabia moving closer to Israel for some agenda? Since the 1960s and 1970s, the West has been pushing the narrative that Saudi Arabia is a rich country, and they exploit this idea to jack up the prices of arms deals with America especially. While they give Israel weapons almost for free, our bills skyrocket to the highest levels instead of the unlimited financial support they pour into Israel. And we must not forget the quality of armaments that keeps Israel’s qualitative military superiority (QME) over all its neighbors. Worse still, the so called American ally, using the excuse of maintenance and upgrades, withdrew Patriot and THAAD missile batteries from Saudi Arabia in 2020 right in the middle of the war with the Houthis. This left a dangerous gap in air defense, forcing Saudi Arabia to immediately search for an alternative to plug this hole, which was achieved through cooperation with Greece. The revolution in Iran did not happen by coincidence, and all the events that followed until today are interconnected, with one clear and well-known goal. With the rise of conflicts that have no parallel anywhere else in the world, the growing threats surrounding Saudi Arabia, and the clear exposure of the so-called American friend and ally who cannot be trusted, Saudi Arabia had no choice but to rely on itself and draw its own independent security and economic policy. Give me one single region in the entire world whose news has dominated the world’s newspapers and media from the end of the Cold War until now and if you can, tell me exactly who stands behind it? Then you and Mark Cancian come talking about who is stronger and how much they spend, as if this were just video games. This is exactly where people lose their morals and their humanity
