Hi all!! Sorry we have been AWOL recently - #life!!! We are currently on family vacation in Europe but when we come back… the Accounting Twins podcast will be better than ever!

I’ve had a rough week at work - everyone on my new team is welcoming and beyond kind. I’m doing well! but People Operations is unlike anything I have ever done. I’ve never been a project manager. I haven’t been a people manager feeling: internally defeated @beckysteiger

Just got an email that I am one of the Top 10 Exam Passers for the State of Arizona in 2023!! Going to a luncheon for the AICPA in May to be recognized! Big eek!! -@normasteiger

Started my last LDP Rotation today in People Operations as an Assistant Chief of Staff - SUPER nervous! I haven’t done ANYTHING like this before, am in an entirely new area, and doing things that aren’t as black and white as finance Sends caffeine and thoughts @beckysteiger

Out of town for a client, & I am VERY nervous because it’s a brand new client. Normally, I use prior year work papers as a reference, but this time around I have to start everything from scratch! Excited to show off what I’ve learned over the past 7 months! -@normasteiger

ITS FRIDAY. I LEFT WORK AT 5. Time to go home and rot. Tomorrow I head to Tucson to see my parents and then I’m there for the week for my client!!!! Taking my engagement team to my old stomping grounds to get some margs. -@normasteiger

Summertime is EBP / NFP busy season… Must be nice

You see… we actually were supposed to record today!! and then boom 💥 12 hour work day for Norma and she isn’t even home yet😞

The concept of busy season is absolutely ridiculous I should not be working 10+ hours a day for 3 months, not being PAID for my overtime, and have less/similar PTO to my friends who don’t work OT. I should be living life, not staring at computer all day. -@normasteiger

HHHHHAPPPY super bowl sunday!! #teamswift we made a fruit pizza, bean salsa, and buffalo chicken dip! heading to a friends soon for the game purposefully bringing my taylor swift popcorn bucket for chips and wearing a tswift shirt just to make my friend mad hehe @beckysteiger

Guys I have never experienced a busy season as much as I am right now. My brain is on overdrive, I need 74 red bulls, and to top it all off, i’m sick. I know I can do this and get through it, but that doesn’t mean I can’t also have a mini freak attack! @beckysteiger
