🥎 Pitcher of the Week 🥎 Akron went 3-2 on the week, splitting a non-conference doubleheader with Robert Morris and defeating UMass 2-1 to remain at the top of the MAC standings. Starting pitcher Madie Jamrog earned all three wins with one complete game performance, posting a 2.13 earned run average. Jamrog threw 23.0 innings and limited opponents to hitting a .241 batting average. She allowed 7 earned runs on 21 hits with 15 strikeouts and only 5 walks. She threw a five hit shutout to secure the win and the series against UMass @ZipsSB | #MACtion
