Tricky day yesterday dealing with this dead ash tree in Seaton for EDDC. The tree was made safe after it had died from suspected poisoning. The crown was removed and final cuts veteranised to mimic natural fractures and speed up habitat production. —... facebook.com/16719040672765…

Passive house planting , coming along rather nicely. Today we moved the rather heavy birch trees from their holding area to front of house, currently formed up like soldiers on parade ... until next week when they will form a stunning copse, viewed from a huge glass wall.
