Were you expecting a verse of the Glorious Qur'an to say, "The Bible was corrupted"? 😁 The Bible itself has never referred to itself as Bible. The book we see as Bible today, (with all the additions and commissions, and inconsistencies) is believed to have two parts; the old and new testaments. While the old testament you said contain laws of prophets before Jesus, you said the new are his laws. Is it not distorting the message of God, if truly the Bible is not corrupted that the Catholic Bible has 73 books, the orthodox bibles range from 76 to 81 (depending on tradition), the protestants Bible has 66 books? Why is it that the protestants, for example rejected the Apocrypha (books like Tobit, Judith, Maccabees, Wisdom of Solomon), but are included in Catholic and Orthodox Bibles? In fact, history has it that it has been accepted for over 1,000 years then removed by protestants in the 16th century? What a joke of religion plays around with the words of God? There are several variations across the Bible, that again questions the authenticity of the book. For example, Mark 16:9-20! that is missing from the earliest manuscripts. John 7:53-8:11 (woman caught in adultery), also absent from oldest manuscripts. This is not talking about the several contradictions between bible versions. Between King James Version, Revised Standard Version, New International Version; where you can find some verses present in one version but missing or altered in another version. In fact, some footnotes even admit that '𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒔“🤡 These are very obvious flaws that intellectually would show you that this book isn't from God as claimed. At least, a lot of it. And yes the Qur'an spoke about it: Allah says: “They distort words from their proper places” (Qur’ān 4:46; 5:13). Ibn Kathīr explains that this distortion (taḥrīf) occurred in two principal ways: by altering the meanings of revealed words while retaining the text, and by changing or introducing wording that was not originally revealed. According to him, this practice was not accidental but carried out by learned men among the People of the Book (Jews/Christians) who understood the original message yet chose interpretations & formulations that supported their evolving doctrines. While the Injīl revealed to ʿĪsā (Jesus, peace be upon him) was pure revelation from Allah, later followers shifted its meanings away from pure monotheism and reinterpreted the message to accommodate beliefs that Jesus himself never taught. Allah further said: “So woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, ‘This is from Allah’” (Qur’ān 2:79). Ibn Kathīr comments that this verse refers to religious authorities who authored texts, rulings, and theological explanations, then elevated them to the status of divine scripture. He explicitly includes Christian clergy among those who introduced creeds and theological constructs; such as doctrines concerning the nature of Jesus, and then attributed them to God. These writings, he explains, were not part of the revelation given to Jesus but were later compositions that gradually became canonized and treated as sacred.

. As a #Muslim who converted to #Christianity, let me clarify this to the Muslims. Dear Muslims, The Quran has never said the Bible was corrupted even though the Muslims always insist. In the Qur'an, some people of the Book were hypocrites (Surah 5:61-63) and perverted what they heard. However, it never said that God's word, given to the people of the Book, was changed. God has the power to give His word, and God has the power to guard His word in safety from corruption. Surah 2:75 says of some people (Jews of Medina), "Hear the Word of Allah perverted it KNOWINGLY after they UNDERSTOOD it." It does not say they corrupted the scripture, only that they perverted what they understood. While the Qur'anic commentator Yusuf Ali tries to say the Biblical Gospel today is not the Injil (Gospel) meant in the Qur'an, and Qur'anic commentator Fazlur Rahman contradicts him. Jesus was taught the Gospel according to Surah 3:48, and Christians are the people of the Gospel in Surah 5:46. The best is when Aisha contradicts Yusuf Ali in Sahih Bukhari vol.4:605 and Sahih Muslim vol.1:301, where she says Khadija took Muhammad, a Christian convert and relative, who used to read the Gospels in Arabic. Surah 5:46 says Jesus was sent confirming the Torah, and the gospel was sent to Him, which was guidance and light. If God sent Jesus to confirm the Torah then at least in Jesus' time, the Torah that people could read and Jesus could confirm was the same Torah God sent. 5:47 So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. If the Injil (Gospel) is the standard by which they are to be judged, then how can it still be corrupted? QUESTION: How did the BIBLE become corrupted all of a sudden?

Eating Christmas food is not haram in Islam as long as the food itself is halal, that is the Fatwa I heard from Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil. He explained that Islam judges food by its ingredients and how it is prepared, not by the occasion on which it is served. He referenced the Qur’anic verse: “The food of the People of the Book is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them…” (Qur’an 5:5). In the Fatwa, he stated that what Muslims should avoid are foods that are haram in themselves, such as pork and alcohol or participation in religious rituals. Sharing meals in the spirit of kindness, good neighborliness and peaceful coexistence is allowed and encouraged in Islam.

So a bomb explodes inside a mosque in Maiduguri, the victims are Muslims, yet Nigerian media deliberately frames it as Bomb blast rocks Maiduguri on Christmas Eve. If you people report the actual news, will you die? This selective wording is not journalism, it’s madness and unprofessional. How are we supposed to be fighting terrorism when we’re also forced to fight stupid, bigoted Nigerian media that thrives on twisting facts to inflame religious tension? Terror has no religion, but manufacturing a Christian genocide narrative is sickening, irresponsible, and dangerous.Say the truth and be professional for once in your miserable lives.

My father invested over ₦18.5million to build a thriving shark pond in our village it was his life's work and a source of income for our family. Now, the authorities has sealed the entire place without any compensation, saying they need the land to construct a road. No notice, no payment, nothing. How do we survive? Is this fair? Please help us seek justice.
