A 22-year-old woman from Mexico's Tarahumara indigenous community has won a 50km (31 miles) ultramarathon wearing sandals. Maria Lorena Ramirez ran without any professional gear and her pair of sandals was reportedly made from recycled tire. She defeated 500 runners from 12 countries wearing a skirt and a scarf.

Personally, I'm not a big believer in trading up. I'm a trade down guy. So I prob wouldn't be down for this trade up regardless (and quite frankly I'm surprised Harbaugh OK'd it given his tenure with Ravens), but again, trust the process, defer to them, etc. All I can do. I knew it was going to be a WR and I was hoping for Hurst there but they have a thousand more resources to eval these WRs than I do so I trust them on the eval part of it.

@audavidb Right or wrong, NYG knew exactly what they wanted based on how fast they turned in those picks. They got their #1 and #4 guys who are both still only 20 years old.

Cardinals, Chiefs, Rams are 3 teams I just don’t really understand what they did tonight. 2 of those 3 organizations are top notch so they get the benefit of the doubt I guess….the NY teams used their immense capital pretty well I think. Love Tyson for the Saints I love the NFL!!

He’s seriously suggesting the Giants trade Dexter Lawrence to move up two spots in the draft and get a RB. That’s it. Dex for Love. In what idiotic fantasy world is a RB carrying that much value? How stupid are these takes. Football is a game played in the trenches and at QB.

@DanSchneierNFL @Ourlads_Sy Plus RB at 12 is not RB at 5. The salary for the fifth pick is nearly double what it would be at 12. By 12 you're down to about 5.5M a year and you can get good positional value with any player you draft.

They also have Sewell - the best run blocker weapon in the NFL plus an OL that has never dipped below a certain threshold even if it’s not what it was with Ragnow. The Giants OL took a major jump in pass pro over the last two years. Run blocking seems to lack weapons on the move and people movers.

Detroit is not unhappy about drafting a RB high with other "more important" needs

Convincing a jury of it and it being worth the use of a DA's limited resources are separate calculations. People aren't charged with crimes they obviously committed all of the time for a variety of reasons.

To this day people still ask me about the J4 hand (I was the commentator). At the time I was convinced it wasn’t legit as no one calls with J high losing to most bluffs. But with no new evidence since I lean slightly towards no. But I still don't believe she misread her hand.

That’s because QB is more of a projection position than any other position in the NFL You can’t just look at college stats and think this guy can be X Z or Y in the NFL.

@DanSchneierNFL So much has gone wrong with this franchise for the last 10+ years. Harbaugh is already such a massive change. I'm just rolling with everything for now in hopes that we see a change. I don't want Love at 5, but if that's the pick, then I'll assume there's a very good reason.

Re: if Giants will actually take Love/RB at 5, we just don’t have any track record of Harbaugh drafting top 5 to go on. With that said, my gut feel is he’s not going to burn that kind of draft capital on a skill player (WR included). Just a feel thing for me. I don’t see it.

@DanSchneierNFL The argument against is the same one as Saquon. You're paying a guy as elite at that position before he's taken a snap in the NFL and it's not a huge position of need for the team anyway. We have glaring holes at DT, IOL and ILB. This would not be solid team building.

For Giants fans who have made the argument to me about using pick 5 at RB so we can have another way of hitting HRs/explosives on offense, I hope you can consider (as MANY GMs have in the past) explosive RBs available on Days 2 & 3 of any draft class including this class like ⬇️

@DanSchneierNFL I don't think any team has intentionally done this (not in the 1st) because the teams trading up want that spot more than you necessarily need to give it up so it's never really been in a team's interest to "pay" to trade back by taking less than full value.

What IF the Giants took a “bad value” trade offer from the NFL’s assumed trade value chart to move down from 5 knowing it’s still probably better (for them) to just get that extra Day 2 pick Has any team done this intentionally? Might be the only way they can move pick 5.
