@AkiraEzra97 @khadijasummers @ff15716 Oh god, I never thought something like this!! 🤣 One thing is for sure: Tj is going to live with the constant fear that Ian will go to work and not come home.
English

@Acirne89 @khadijasummers @ff15716 For me this is a clear sign for that polaroid—That distant future because I don't think TJ will be able to live like this forever and that's why TJ's destiny, Chiwoon is close to him. TJ's growth would be about letting Ian go.
English

@AkiraEzra97 @khadijasummers @ff15716 Because it wasn't the story of Ian and Tj since the very beginning. It was the story of Ian and Jo being star-crossed lovers.
English

@Acirne89 @khadijasummers @ff15716 TJ knows exactly what Jo meant to Ian and Ian never gave TJ a chance to repent for his mistakes or reconcile their past, TJ hasn't been able to grow. Ian wants him to suffer in that guilt forever, which is why TJ remains unhappy and constantly anxious for the rest of his life.
English

@khadijasummers @ff15716 The memories of everything they shared together, they have already become an "eternal memory" in lan's mind. lan's life will always be marked by the imprint of Joseph and what he had given to him, and this is something even Tj knows.
English

@khadijasummers @ff15716 But there is one thing that's different from the past: what makes lan go on is his love for Joseph. He knows that every time he looks up at the sky, he will remember Joseph.

@wetsandtragic You missed the point of the definition itself. The two lovers DON’T END UP together. The author, herself, defines Ian and Jo as “the two lovers” in chapter 98. There is no need to force anything. “The two lovers” are already doomed.
English

@Acirne89 Nobody meets the definition but IF we reach to try to force it the multiple decades of fate, society, internal demons, and figures like Jason, Jamie and Jo trying to keep TJYW apart fits. That’s my point. We can’t be SCL with exes we chose to dump because we don’t love them.
English

#wetsand In Wuthering Heights, Heathcliffe and Cathy are Star Crossed Lovers due to societal pressure and both of their internal demons. In R&J they’re Star Crossed Lovers due to their feuding families and being unable to love openly. In Tristan and Isolde it’s similar... +
English

@wetsandtragic Here is where the myth of Orion and Artemis takes place. Since is Jo who tells the myth to Ian, it refers to these two, not anyone else.
English

@wetsandtragic The definition of "star-crossed lovers" refers to two people who are not able to be together for some reason. It means they can't be together. It means they DON’T END UP together. Since Tj and Ian are the endgame, they can't be the “star-crossed lovers”.
English

@wetsandtragic No matter how much they want to be together, they can't be. Romeo and Juliet teach us this. Furthermore, the definition originally meant that the pairing is being "thwarted by a malign star" or that the stars are working against the relationship.

@Mayla68898567 I don't know what the big deal. You said yourself that Ian fed him when it never happened. By the way, I know I'm repeating myself but, if you want to glorify your favorite at least do it without always having to compare him to Joseph! Thank you 🩵
English

@Acirne89 Go read again and see,Chris stole the 💸 and Jo kept the camera he wanted to sell it but he didn’t be he didn’t have enough 💸to buy another one.there's a chap where he clearly told Ian the camera was given by Tj🙈.Then, what the big deal him cooking for Ian?Ian can do it himself
English

I don’t really like responding to people’s nonsense, but I’m going to teach you a lesson that only the wisest will understand.+

@Mayla68898567 @OhTaejoonAh A boss?😂😂😂A boss?😂😂😂 In the end, Jo's a photographer. He's living out HIS dream. TJ owns an Italian restaurant, like Jo's summer job, while living in a home similar to Jo's childhood home and now dressing like Jo.
English

@Hanniechan1004 In this specific case, they didn't understand AT ALL the meaning of this quote.
English

@Hanniechan1004 I entered this “world” a short time ago but I immediately noticed one thing: they always need to refer to the one they don't like to “glorify” their favorite. My question is: why? Well, I have the answer but I don't think they will like it! 🤣
