What I noticed this weekend: the little kids watch the older kids like they’re heroes. The parents feel every pitch. The grandparents are grateful to be there. Where you are in life changes what you see at a ballpark. My job is making it worth it for all of them. @AcmeCongress

Kalida makes a puzzling decision with one out and runners on first and third, intentionally getting into a rundown between first and second. It's not effective, the runner is thrown out going home, and a single two pitches later is rendered useless. Still FV 1-0 after 3.5.

ACME State Tournament - Semifinal St Henry 6, Archbold 5 Landon Schwartz hits a walk-off single to send the defending champion Redskins back to the State Final tomorrow.

Good quality baseball doesn’t happen without good quality umpires. Something that ACME baseball prides ourselves on is taking care of these guys. BTS our commissioner Ben Mauch and director of umpires Steve Kirby are carefully coordinating and making sure our umps are well cared for.
