why have we still never had a “lyrics on the first day of release” update?

@golferjoe99 @ihymacc Musixmatch! You can create an account on it, and after a few tutorials and easy qualifiers you can contribute lyrics and syncing to almost all songs! Also if one song has locked lyrics but they are clearly wrong you can go to the musixmatch telegram and they will fix it

Because Spotify doesn’t make the lyrics, they are (most often) sourced from musixmatch, where either the artist or the manager has to manually fill in and time sync the lyrics, which musixmatch then has to send to Spotify and Spotify has to approve them. It’s possible to do it before-release iirc, but most don’t and Spotify takes like 3 days at least to approve them.
