Today, our unit is stronger than ever. We are committed to our important work as the 2024 election cycle picks up, and we will continue to advocate for and stand in solidarity with one another.

We weathered layoffs, fought for stronger severance for those impacted, and worked with management to ensure that remaining workers could feel secure in their jobs. We continue to hold management accountable and make sure our contract is followed.

Happy May Day! Otherwise known as International Workers’ Day, we’re celebrating this holiday meant to recognize workers’ labor victories and contributions through our own efforts to make ActBlue a better workplace for all.

While we still haven’t heard from leadership if these layoffs actually course corrected @actblue financially, we have spent the last year fighting to make ActBlue a better, more equitable place to work.

One year ago today, @actblue laid off 54 employees, 32 of which were ActBlue Union members. The loss of valuable institutional knowledge and these workers’ contributions during a major election cycle is still being felt today.

One year ago today our shared workspace lost a lot of union jobs, ultimately including 4 of our colleagues and a member of our Bargaining Committee. We’re still here, and we’re still organizing for a fair contract that respects workers.

This week we filed an Unfair Labor Practice charge against @actblue after they unilaterally moved work out of our union. This will move to an official proceeding governed by the National Labor Relations Board & we will post updates as they come. Thank you for your solidarity!

Leadership has shown a blatant disregard for the contract that we negotiated together and ratified just two months ago. We have had to push management to work with us at every turn, while navigating ongoing ramifications and solidarity efforts to support our members.
