@sagaftra "12.55% increases to scale minimums over four years is possible with your vote"? True. But also, a majority No vote sends #SAGAFTRA back to the bargaining table with the AMPTP. So, HIGHER increases and a different period for the agreement is also possible -- with your No vote.

@sagaftra I don't think many #SAGAFTRAmembers care about this kind of phrasing. I think it's the Union's effort to make wage increases look better than they practically are. They are 3% each year, stuck with that rate now for 4 years in a row. It will really start to suck end of Year 1.

💰Not really an oldie but still a damn goodie about the split-earnings problem STILL experienced by so many #SAGAFTRA actors. (Don’t worry — it’s not boring at all.) Episode 37: actingincome.com/podcast

Just a reminder #SAGAFTRA was created via a merger more than 12 years ago, in 2012. Since then, the SAG Pension Plan and the AFTRA Retirement Fund remain unmerged, continuing a split-earnings problem for members trying to earn pension credits working on both SAG & AFTRA jobs.

@sagaftra I haven't seen you publish the proposed memorandum of agreement (MOA). You did last time, despite seeming to resist doing so. And you have done so around proposed Commercials Contract successors. What should we interpret from your not doing so this time? #sagaftramembers

@sagaftra Keep in mind #SAGAFTRA has repeatedly stressed that the plans are "separate organizations." To say the plans "will be merging" suggests these "separate" businesses are not self-controlled. Fun fact: The Union can change out the plans' union trustees when they want. Puppeteer?

The 2026 TV/Theatrical Contracts has achieved a crucial gain: the SAG-Producers Pension Plan and the AFTRA Retirement Fund will be merging. This means no more split earnings! Learn more about what this means for #SagAftraMembers at sagaftra.org/contracts2026.

@sagaftra "No more split earnings!" is presumptuous. This 7/1, provided members ratify the proposed MOAs, the pension plans will still not be merged. Many things must happen before the plans merge, with no guarantee they will. So, "Split earnings will continue!" is more accurate to say.

@sagaftranews We'll see if these pension plans merge; I sure hope this idea in the proposed MOA works. So many involved parties, and also possible litigation. No better time to remind you of this episode, which was from about years before the proposed merger date! actingincome.com/episode37

#SAGAFTRA's Membership Rule #7 begins, "No member shall engage in abusive conduct toward any other person […]" I don't know if Alan Ritchson is a @SAGAFTRA member (i.e., fi-core or not), but at times like this, you wonder if the Union enforces its rules. tmz.com/2026/03/22/ala…

I wonder what help social media companies might provide if they offered “uniting” and “dividing” buttons for the content we see that we could click, and algorithms that present unifying content over divisive content. Would that be a step they could take to repair their damage?

@investorbytes_ Watch first for whether #SAGAFTRA calls for a strike authorization vote from its members. It has not done so. Without such a vote and a majority voting to authorize a strike, no strike from #SAGAFTRA can even happen. Even with a majority vote, doesn't mean the Union will strike.
