Action For Sport

I had the pleasure of visiting Sir Gareth Southgate Friday morning, who donated sports clothing, football boots and sports equipment to our charity. A very genuine, compassionate man, working with the centre for social justice and the Kings trust to put back into society.

Bradford to Buckingham Palace. Action For Sport are honoured to have been invited to the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, to celebrate the work of those in Education! Thank you to all of those who have continuously supported us and got us here!

A great night at Bradford Sports Awards! I am honoured to have been nominated for the environmental sustainability award because of the work the Action For Sport do! A great night listening to the amazing work that others do and how the community of Bradford comes together!

Action For Sport had the absolute pleasure to meet friend and Leeds Rhinos legend, Stevie Ward! We are also extremely proud to say that he has agreed to become an ambassador of Action For Sport . I do know Stevie will be a massive influence and will continue to inspire.

Action For Sport travelled down to Leicester this week to collect a significant amount of clothing from the owner of clothing brand @justhypeuk , Pav Duali. Pav showed us so much kindness and we are grateful for their support!

It’s an honour for Action For Sport to be a part of the Leeds Equipment and Kit exchange Partnership team and to be a part of winning a global award! 🏆 I am very sure that this is just the start of a journey where we as a group get stronger and reach so many more people!

Action For Sport was happy to help Donard Ndim Nyamjua who is a guide runner for Guillaume Atangana, both winning bronze in the 400m final in the Paris 2024 Paralympics. Both sought asylum after fleeing Cameroon and are now studying at Bradford College.

We are once again raising money for Action for Sport, a charity that helps disadvantaged children within sport. A charity close to Neil’s heart. 100% of all proceeds raised will be going to. £5 entry for all spectators the bar will be open for drinks during and after the game.

On the 6th July I got the pleasure to go to the British Weightlifting Championships to watch AFS support Olympic silver medalist @Brownskinjessie It was brilliant to meet Emily and support her in her win in the British Championships! 💪🏼🏆
