My mom was supportive, kind and had a work ethic like I've never encountered. She treated our friends like her own kids and offered others food or a place to stay if they needed it. She fed football players with no place to go Thanksgiving dinner despite it being a ridiculous NCAA violation. She was a great mom, a loving sister and an amazing coach's wife who was tougher than shit but filled with love. She'll be missed. chron.com/sports/texans/…
